Once established, the Bonita Ash is drought tolerant, and will require minimal supplemental irrigation to sustain dense, green foliage through the summer months. In addition, despite being a fast grower, the Bonita Ash has very strong wood and easily withstands high winds, as well as full sun and temperatures as low as 0° F.
